When you upload your inventory into Omni, you will have the opportunity to set a security deposit for each item:
When a renter rents the item, we will also charge them the full deposit amount.
72 hours after the completion of the rental, the renter will automatically be refunded the Security Deposit in full unless you have filed a claim.
If you need to file a security deposit claim, be sure to contact support within 48 hours of the rental ending, and before the item goes out on another rental. Our claims team will walk you through the claims process, collect and review documentation, and determine a payout amount. Security deposits cover most cases of damage or loss, with a few exceptions such as normal wear-and-tear.
Payouts are sent to your payout account, the same way you get paid for rentals.
