If an item gets damaged or is not returned, be sure to contact us right away at email@example.com to file a claim.
We need to hear from you no later than 48 hours after the rental ends and before the item goes out on another rental in order to help you with a claim.
We’ll ask you for photos of the damage, information about the original purchase price and date, and repair invoices if applicable. We may also ask you to file a police report if the item is stolen.
Our claims team will review the documentation to determine your coverage amount. Once we’ve agreed on the amount, we’ll process a payout to your account (the same way you get paid for rentals).
Claims payouts are funded by your Security Deposit first. If the payout amount is higher than the security deposit, we’ll fund the remainder (up to $10,000) through our Omni Shield coverage program.
